Before you enter a longhouse, there is a pause, a breath held between worlds.   The fire inside crackles softly. The air carries the scent of woodsmoke and wool. You can almost hear the low murmur of voices, the quiet rhythm of craft, the steady heartbeat of a place built for stories.

This hall is my own making, and as its Jarl, it’s my honor to welcome you inside.

My name is Erick, and I’m a retired Engineer, and author forging several interconnected sagas: The Ninefold Chronicles, Queen of Birka, The Last Pagan King, The First Viking, Threadwalker Chronicles, and a modern‑day thriller that threads danger through the present day. My work is mostly shaped by Viking history, Norse cosmology, and the myth‑touched spaces where research and imagination meet.

I live in Indiana, but my creative world stretches across fjords, burial mounds, longhouses, and the quiet paths of people who lived more than a thousand years ago. My days are spent writing, researching, cooking, woodworking, taking landscape photos, traveling, and shaping the stories that will eventually become books.

Why This Hall Was Built

I wanted a place that felt more like a hearth than a homepage, a space where readers could gather, listen, and watch the slow forging of stories. Not a bulletin board. Not a marketing feed. A hall. A forge. A quiet place where progress is steady and shared.
